'Lunch at the Lab' is a weekly lunchtime gathering of members of the Laboratory and anyone else interested. We meet in the Laboratory every Thursday between 12-ish and 1pm for a brown-bag lunch and an informal seminar and discussion.

The MITACS Internship Program

MITACS project meeting: Modelling trading and risk in the market. November 11-13 at the Banff International Research Station. The aim of the workshop was to bring academic researchers in mathematical and computational finance and together with risk managers and quantitative analysts from industry to share new ideas, practical and theoretical questions of the moment, current research, and to foster closer collaboration.

The Journal Club provides a forum for reading and discussing interesting research papers. This is now part of the Lunch at the Lab programme.

The Finance Department in the Haskayne School of Business runs a Finance Research Seminar.
